Pursuant to Section 7(1) of the National Parks General Regulations, of the Canada National Parks Act, the following activity is restricted or prohibited by order of the Superintendent:
Equine Use, Travel and Transport is prohibited in Yoho National Park, with the exception of the following trails:

1. Great Divide (Old 1A Hwy): From the Lake O'Hara Road/Trans Canada Highway to Lake Louise Drive in Banff National Park.
2. Kicking Horse Trail: From Natural Bridge to Otterhead River.
3. Otterhead Trail: From Otterhead Trail junction, on the Kicking Horse Trail, up to the Tocher Ridge junction.
4. Ottertail Trail: From the Trans Canada Highway to McArthur Warden Cabin.
5. Tocher Ridge Trail: From Otterhead Trail junction to Tocher Ridge.

Penalty: Violators may be charged under the Canada National Parks Act: maximum penalty $25 000.
