Restricted activity: Travel in Yoho National Park

What: By order of the Superintendent and pursuant to Section 7.1(2) of the National Parks General Regulations, travel within Yoho National Park has been determined to be a “designated activity” requiring authorization in the form of a park entry pass.

Where: Yoho National Park.

Exception: Persons traveling without stopping along Trans-Canada Highway do not require a park pass.

Penalty: Violators may be charged under the Canada National Parks Act: maximum penalty $25 000.
