Infrastructure project list

Rogers Pass Centre rehabilitation

The Rogers Pass Centre is now closed to all visitors for the next two years while rehabilitation work is underway. Over the next two years, visitor services will be available in the same location in a temporary facility called Summit Station.

Meadows in the Sky Parkway overpass repairs

Work on the westbound overpass entrance to the Meadows in the Sky Parkway in Mount Revelstoke National Park will be ongoing throughout summer 2025. Watch for reduced speed limits and changes in traffic patterns until fall 2025.

Culvert replacement

800m east of Rock Garden Trailhead. Generally two lanes of traffic will be maintained throughout construction. There will be speed reductions in the work zone to 50km/h and lane widths will be reduced until the end of October.

Trans-Canada Highway repaving

Short sections of highway repaving and spray patching will occur at various places along Highway 1. Expect short delays with single lane alternating traffic.

East Gate landslide maintenance

Beginning in July, work will continue in the East Gate landslide area. Additional landslide flow check dams are being installed to prevent impacts to the Trans-Canada Highway. No delays to traffic are expected.
