Trans-Canada Highway repaving
Short sections of highway repaving and spray patching will occur at various places along Highway 1. Expect short delays with single lane alternating traffic.
East Gate landslide maintenance
Beginning in July, work will continue in the east gate landslide area. Additional landslide flow check dams are being installed to prevent impacts to the Trans-Canada Highway. No delays to traffic are expected.
Giant Cedars Boardwalk and Day Use Area
As of May 01, 2024, the Giant Cedars Boardwalk and Day Use Area, including the washrooms and parking lot, will be closed due to construction on the boardwalk. It is expected to reopen in early July 2024.
