Historic site management planning

The current situation is such that Parks Canada’s priorities have had to be temporarily redefined. The health and safety of Canadians, visitors, and Parks Canada team members is of the utmost importance to the Agency, and that is why the last few months have been heavily focused on putting in place appropriate measures to support Canada’s efforts to limit the spread of COVID 19 and reduce the risk to the Canadian population, visitors and employees.

The process of renewing management plans has been temporarily suspended, delaying finalization of the Forges du Saint-Maurice management plan. As soon as the Agency’s Chief Executive Officer approves it, it will be available online here.

Until then, the report below identifies all the comments and suggestions received during the in-person and online public consultations held last summer.
