Obadjiwan–Fort Témiscamingue National Historic Site

Located in northwestern Quebec, in the town of Duhamel-Ouest in Témiscamingue, Obadjiwan–Fort Témiscamingue National Historic Site is open to the general public from June to September.

Allow around 90 minutes to visit the buildings and outdoor facilities, with extra time to enjoy the guided tour and enchanted forest trails.

Useful information

Obadjiwan–Fort Témiscamingue National Historic Site is temporarily closed to the public for the season and will reopen in summer 2026. In the meantime:
  • The site welcomes groups (schools, social clubs, etc.) for guided tours from May to September, upon reservation only. See details.
  • The outdoor areas can be visited freely and at no cost, but please note that the visitor centre and restrooms are not accessible.
