Fortifications of Québec National Historic Site
Accompanied by a Parks Canada guide, explore Old Québec, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Learn about the history of the city and its fortifications. As you walk along the fortification's walls, you will discover some of the city’s best views.
Enjoy exceptional access to three historic locations normally closed to the public:
• Governor’s Garden Pavilion
• Casemate
• Esplanade Powder Magazine
These heritage spaces are accessible only as part of this guided tour.
Dates
From June 19 to October 12, 2026. Every day.
• English tour: 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM.
• French tour: 10:30 AM and 2:30 PM.
Price
Parks Canada is pleased to offer free admission for youth at our parks and sites, however regular fees still apply for other experiences and services, such as guided tours.

- Duration: 90 minutes, with an optional extension of up to 30 minutes at no additional cost (up to 120 minutes total
