Canada Day

Saturday July 1st, 2023 - Dufferin Terrace

Many activities are organized in Québec City as part of Canada Day. Join us at 11 a.m. on the Dufferin Terrace to celebrate! Do not miss Royal 22e Régiment flag-raising ceremony followed by the tasting of the famous giant cake offered by Fairmont Château Frontenac. Visit the official event website for the full program.

To help you get the most out of this day, Parks Canada will be offering free admission to all of its sites across the country on July 1st ! Take advantage of this free offer to visit Saint-Louis Forts and Châteaux National Historic Site before or after the ceremony.

Screening of the short film program KASKINA! - Tous ensemble ! (youth 7-12 years old) in the presence of Wapikoni ambassador Daniel Brière of the Wolastotew Nation.

Screening of the short film program Nos couleurs autochtones the presence of Wapikoni ambassador Daniel Brière of the Wolastotew Nation.

The event will be held rain or shine. In case of rain, the event will take place at the Esplanade powder magazine (same adress).
