Winter Trail

Lachine Canal National Historic Site

This winter, users of the Canal path will be able to enjoy a section cleared of snow by the Sud-Ouest Borough. The borough will double the length of the cleared segment this year. It will extend along the north side of the path between De la Commune Street and the Atwater footbridge, and along the south side from Charlevoix Street to the Côte-Saint-Paul footbridge, for a total distance of 4.7 km.

The remaining portion of the path will not be maintained before April 15, 2026.

For any questions related to snow clearing on the path, please contact the City of Montréal’s information service at 311.
