Fort Malden National Historic Site
By working in collaboration with respected organisations that share our values, Parks Canada is able to better deliver its promise to Canadians by continuing to be a world leader in the protection and presentation of Canada's natural and cultural heritage. We believe in sharing leadership and working with our partners to offer unique, inspiring opportunities for Canadians to discover our treasured places and to achieve extraordinary results.
We are proud to be formally collaborating with the following partners:
Founded in 1984, The Maidstone & Area Historical Society owns and operates the Maidstone Bicentennial Museum. Dedicated to preserving and showcasing the heritage and culture of the local area, Parks Canada is pleased to collaborate with Maidstone & Area Historical Society to create educational opportunities and promote the rich history of Amherstberg, Ontario. Become a friend of the museum and volunteer your time and talent!
With a mission to brew beer, contribute to the local beer industry and educate the public on beer and the history of the community, GL Heritage Brewing Co. is inspired by family entrepreneurship, an affinity to all things which bring people together, and the desire to participate in their thriving community. Their family’s established roots continue the legacy of providing their neighbours with something which can connect everyone. Parks Canada is proud to have Fort Malden historical hops growing and on display at GL Heritage’s patio and excited to collaborate on the educational experience of the history of the area.
