Don’t forget your camera; the Tower’s commanding position makes it the perfect place to photograph Saint John’s cityscape, its harbour, and the Bay of Fundy. On a clear day, you’ll be able to see Nova Scotia; on a foggy day, you’ll have to use your imagination!

Picnics

Nothing says “summer” quite like a picnic. So extend your visit to Carleton Martello Tower and stay for lunch! Just pack your picnic, select your picnic table of choice, and try to figure out why food always tastes better when eaten outdoors. Bon appétit!
