Carleton Martello Tower National Historic Site

The martello tower is undergoing vital restoration work. Although visitors are not able to enter the tower during this time, we encourage them to explore and enjoy the Visitor Centre and grounds.

Return back in time! when the British protected Saint John from an American invasion. Watch a popular tower video and catch award-winning interactive exhibits in the Visitor Centre. Have a picnic before the Saint John harbour.
