Hours of operation

Prince of Wales Fort National Historic Site

• Open July and August
• Tours available from July to August (tour times dependent on tide schedule)
  • Prince of Wales Fort guided tours
• On-site experiences take place outdoors and are therefore weather dependent.

Cape Merry Battery (located 3 km outside of town)

• Oct. 10 to Nov. 17
  Staff will be onsite Monday through Sunday from 9:30 am to 3 pm. Tours are free on a first-come, first-served basis.

Parks Canada Visitor Centre

• June 17 to June 30
  Monday to Friday: 9 am to 12 pm and 1 to 4 pm
• July 2 onward
  Daily: 9 am to 12 pm and 1 to 4 pm
  Closed July 1 and July 20
