A management plan outlines the vision and strategic direction for a national historic site. It is a key public accountability document that outlines Parks Canada’s commitment to Canadians about how we will protect and manage the future of the national historic site.
Each national historic site managed by Parks Canada has a management plan.
A new Management Plan for the Site
We are beginning to prepare a new management plan for Fort St. James National Historic Site. Nearly 10 years have passed since the current Management Plan was approved. It is now time to prepare a new, updated plan for the site that addresses current circumstances and concerns.
