How to book

Our staff is readily available to help you make your booking year round. You can email fortstjames@canada.ca and from May to September you can contact the front desk at (250) 996-7191 ext 25.

Information needed

• Date
• Time of arrival and planned departure from the site
• Number of students and grade level
• Teacher’s names (all names if multiple classes plan to visit together)
• School name and contact information (including phone number, fax number and mailing address)
• Any special requests that we can accomodate

Fees

The cost for elementary and high school students is $3.90 per student per program. One adult (including teachers and parent chaperones) per five students is free. Additional adults are welcome and can enter at the group adult rate of $7.80. All fees include taxes.

All fees are to be paid upon arrival and can be paid using cheque, debit, credit or cash.

Confirmation

In May, we re-confirm your booking and send each school a package containing a confirmation letter, useful information for planning your day and a classroom activity booklet. You can also request a free pre-visit pass for each teacher.

Return visits encouraged

Students and teachers will be rewarded when they return home with a Parks Canada Ambassador pass. This coupon is good for a free return admission entry to Fort St. James National Historic site when returning with family or friends (can be used for adult admission in future or child).
