Microsoft 365 at Parks Canada
Parks Canada is moving to Microsoft 365 (M365), the Government of Canada's new digital platform to modernize the way we work.
The next phase of our M365 adoption involves cleaning up the content on our shared network drives and personal drives (U: Drives) before migrating to SharePoint Online and OneDrive.
M365 timeline
Our M365 adoption is happening in a phased approach:
- Email migration Completed September 2021
- Deployment of Microsoft Teams "communication" Completed February 2022
- Rollout of M365 desktop apps Completed March 2023
- Content cleanup and migration to OneDrive and SharePoint (date to be confirmed)
- Full suite of M365 tools rolled out across the Agency (date to be confirmed)
