Shoreline Walk: Into the Shallows
Lake Superior National Marine Conservation Area
With the naked eye we see waves, water, distant islands, sand… only a tiny breath of what’s actually going on in the water…a postcard version of Lake Superior. Wade into the shallows and watch the daily lives of swimming, flying, fluttering shore-dwellers; you’ll never see the beach the same way again...
Let's uncover the elusive species at Terrace Bay beach and observe to conserve! We’ll provide binoculars, field guides, seine nets – we just need you.
