Lake Lore: Songs & Stories of Superior
Lake Superior National Marine Conservation Area
The vast and unpredictable waters of Lake Superior hold a special meaning for the communities that live along its shores. Its remote, isolated communities all have a shared connection to this Great Lake which has developed through songs sung around campfires, stories shared by the shore, and news carried between the towns and camps scattered along the North Shore.
Join us around the campfire and hear the stories of the colourful characters and ghostly goings-on that have captured the attention of coastal residents for centuries.
