The 2024 Jasper Wildfire brought significant impacts to the Jasper community—and recovery is well underway. At Parks Canada, we are fully committed to restoring services, supporting residents, and rebuilding infrastructure in partnership with the Municipality of Jasper and local stakeholders.
As recovery moves forward, we will update this page with new supports and information. We encourage you to check back regularly.

The Jasper Recovery Coordination Centre
Parks Canada and the Municipality of Jasper established the Jasper Recovery Coordination Centre (JRCC) on August 22, 2024, following incident response and community re-entry. The JRCC guides the recovery process and delivers resources and support.
The JRCC has a working-group structure typical of other recovery coordination centres, and a common governance arrangement in the post-disaster recovery field. Working groups are made up of government agencies, industry, and non-governmental representatives, and ensure that recovery actions are centered on the needs of the community, delivered effectively and efficiently, and aligned with the outcomes and objectives of the Jasper Recovery Framework.
The JRCC publishes updated recovery information on both the Parks Canada (2025 annual report) and Municipality of Jasper website (regular JRCC updates), and through annual recovery reports each summer.
The Jasper Recovery Year Two Progress Report is now available. The report highlights recovery progress in the community of Jasper and Jasper National Park, including key accomplishments to date, ongoing recovery efforts, and what to expect in the months and years ahead.
In 2025, the JRCC released the Jasper Recovery Framework along with a Year One Progress Report.
