What: 

Pursuant to Section 7(1) of the National Parks General Regulations, the following activities are prohibited by order of the Superintendent: 

• parking and driving along the shoulder of the main park road in Point Pelee National Park of Canada. 

Where: 

• The shoulder of the main park road in Point Pelee National Park of Canada. 
• Any grassed surface within Point Pelee National Park of Canada. 

Why:

To ensure the safety and security of visitors and to prevent wildlife injury and death. 

Note:

Violators may be charged under the Canada National Parks Act.
