oTENTiks are a unique Parks Canada accommodation providing a relaxing, comfortable and easy way to camp! A cross between an A-frame cabin and a prospector tent, up on a raised wooden floor, these permanent shelters are ready for your arrival! There are five oTENTiks in the Cedar Spring campground on Beausoleil Island, making them a great base to explore the island and have a fun vacation!

The fee includes return boat transportation from Honey Harbour to Beausoleil Island and parking for a single vehicle on the mainland in Honey Harbour.
Reservations
Reserve by calling 1-877-RESERVE (737-3783) or by visiting the Parks Canada Campground Reservation Service. They can be reserved from the Friday of the Victoria Day weekend (in May) until Canadian Thanksgiving Monday (in October).
Access to the island is by boat only.
Boat Transportation for oTENTiks is included and pre-arranged for each reservation, for up to 4 guests.
Equipment Provided
Inside each tent:
- Two-queen sized and one double-sized bed with high density foam mattresses for a restful night’s sleep
- A table and chairs
- Fire extinguisher, smoke and carbon monoxide detectors
- Broom and dustpan
- Please note: there is no plumbing or running water in the oTENTiks
On each campsite:
- oTENTik with front deck
- A camp stove with propane
- Fire pit
- Picnic table
Nearby:
- Comfort station with showers and flush toilets
- Water taps
- Picnic shelter
- Visitor Centre with souvenirs, drinks and firewood for sale

A Few Rules
In addition to the national park’s camping regulations, Parks Canada oTENTik users must follow a few additional rules:
- To prevent wildlife incidents, no food preparation, food or drink storage, eating, drinking, or cooking is allowed inside the tent. Store all food and related items in the bear proof lockers.
- Smoking is not permitted within the oTENTiks.
- Pets are not permitted within the oTENTiks.
