Discovery of an impact crater in Arctic Canada
In 2018, researchers worked to determine whether a circular lake within Auyuittuq was an impact crater formed by a meteorite.
ArcticNet 2018 expedition onboard the Canadian research icebreaker CCGS Amundsen
In 2018, researchers visited Auyuittuq’s marine areas to conduct water sampling and seafloor mapping.
