Environment
Tuktut Nogait National Park
An ecologically diverse park, Tuktut Nogait is located 170 kilometres north of the Arctic Circle. A wide variety of mammals live in this park, which is the calving grounds of the Bluenose Caribou and a major breeding ground for migratory birds. A total of three rivers flow through the park, draining into the Amundsen Gulf after flowing through sedimentary rock and continuous Arctic Tundra.
