Hours of Operation
Nahanni National Park Reserve
The peak visitor season for Nahanni National Park Reserve is in July and August. Registration is required of all overnight visitors to the park, and camping reservations are required for Náįlįcho (Virginia Falls), Gahnįhthah Mie (Rabbitkettle Lake), Glacier Lake/Fairy Meadows, Nááts’įhch’oh Tué (Mooseponds), and Ǫtaa Tué Fehto (Divide Lake). It is recommended that Náįlįcho (Virginia Falls), Gahnįhthah Mie (Rabbitkettle Lake), Glacier Lake/Fairy Meadows reservations be made well in advance due to popular demand.

Nahanni National Park Reserve has offices in Łįįdłįį Kų́e (Fort Simpson) (main office) and Nahanni Butte.

Gahnįhthah Mie (Rabbitkettle Lake) and Náįlįcho (Virginia Falls) are staffed during the summer operating season.
A park warden is on call 24 hours a day between June 15 and September 15.
