Tips for swimming safely at Kejimkujik. 

A few rules

Never dive as rocks may be completely hidden in the dark water.

Never swim alone.

Never swim under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Intoxication can lead to disorientation underwater and increase the risk of drowning.

Beaches

All beaches at Kejimkujik are unsupervised.

Backcountry campsites

Swimming suitability varies from site to site, depending on water depth on approach to site.


Swimming at Kejimkujik Seaside

Swimming at Kejimkujik Seaside is not recommended due to dangerous currents, strong undertows, and cold water temperatures.
