While the Cabot Trail is open, facilities and services including all trails and day use areas in Cape Breton Highlands National Park are closed.

Parks Canada asks the public to not visit Cape Breton Highlands National Park at this time due to potential dangers and to give space for workers to assess impacts. Thank you for your cooperation.

As a reminder, campgrounds continue to be closed until Friday, September 30. Those camping during this closure period are being contacted and full refunds provided.
