Riding Mountain National Park
Info-work - Remaining repairs to Lake Audy Road
Issued: October 25, 2023
Work to permanently repair the remaining damage to Lake Audy Road in Riding Mountain National Park will begin on October 29, 2023. This will result in the closure of the Lake Audy area to visitors while construction is underway. This work is expected to go on until June, 2024. See map 1.
Repairs to be completed:
- Repair of the crossing over Jackfish Creek at Kilometre 26
- Repair of the crossing over Jackfish Creek at Kilometre 18
Parks Canada staff understands that this closure may cause inconvenience and appreciates your patience as we complete the remaining work. We look forward to the reopening of the south entrance and restoring full road access for visitors and local community members.
