Giant Cedars Boardwalk

Trailhead: 30 km east of Revelstoke on the Trans-Canada Highway.
Set among towering cedar trees, some over 500 years old, the trail winds up through the old-growth forest and back down to within steps of where you started.
Benches are provided so you can relax and breathe in the serene forest atmosphere.

Skunk Cabbage Boardwalk
Exploring the wetland at Skunk Cabbage Day Use Area is a much-loved experience for visitors and locals alike. Parks Canada is pleased to announce the reopening of a section of the trail and boardwalk. It is even sporting a new bird blind for your bird watching enjoyment. The remaining sections are unsafe to walk on and at risk of collapsing. For your safety and to protect this sensitive wetland environment, the area beyond the bird blind is closed.
Picnic area: 28 km east of Revelstoke on the Trans-Canada Highway.
Look and listen for a wide variety of birds at this riverside picnic area. Visit at different times between spring and fall to see dramatic seasonal changes. The boardwalk and wetland trail are closed for maintenance until further notice.
