WHAT: Pursuant to Section 36(1) of the National Parks General Regulations, Pachena Point Lightstation and surrounding grounds, located in the West Coast Trail Unit of Pacific Rim National Park Reserve, are closed to public use.

WHERE: Refer to the map on this notice.

WHY: To ensure visitor safety.

WHEN: At all times, until further notice.

PENALTY: Violators may be charged under the Canada National Parks Act: maximum penalty $25,000.
