
Radium Hot Springs
From June 20 to September 2, Parks Canada will be offering free entry to national historic sites, national parks, and national marine conservation areas operated by Parks Canada. Regular fees still apply for experiences and services not covered by the National Park Pass, such as pool admission at the Radium Hot Springs.
One of British Columbia’s top natural hot springs is found in Kootenay National Park. This family-friendly facility offers plenty of space to relax and soak in the expansive hot pool or cool off with the kids in the swimming pool.

Boil water advisory:
Tuesday June 17, until further notice
- A boil water advisory for the Radium Hot Springs Pools will be in effect starting Tuesday, June 17 until further notice. Tap water in sinks and showers will remain available but should not be consumed. Alternative potable water sources will be available; however, visitors are encouraged to bring their own drinking water.
- The pool water is not affected by the boil water advisory and remains safe—it is sourced from a separate geothermal spring.
