Pursuant to Section 13(a) of the National Parks Camping Regulations of the Canada

National Parks Act, the following activities are hereby prohibited in all Gulf Islands National Park Reserve campgrounds by order of the Superintendent, Gulf Islands National Park Reserve of Canada:

Use of a generator except during the hours of 09:00-10:30 and 17:00-19:00

The purpose of this order is to provide campers with a quiet and enjoyable experience, and to protect the natural resources of the park.

Contravention of this order may result in fines or prosecution pursuant to the Canada National Parks Act : maximum penalty $25,000.
