WHAT: Pursuant to Section 36(1) of the National Parks General Regulations, of the Canada National Parks Act, the following area is closed to all traffic and travel by order of the Superintendent:

WHERE: The Cameron Lake area including: the Akamina Parkway from Little Prairie day-use area to Cameron Lake, the Akamina Pass Trail from the Akamina Parkway to the BC border, the Carthew-Alderson Trail from Cameron Lake day-use area to Carthew Pass, the Boundary Creek Trail from Summit Lake to the USA Border, and height of land connecting the previously mentioned areas. WHY: The area is closed for bear management activities.

PENALTY: Violators may be charged under the Canada National Parks Act: maximum penalty $25,000.
