PURSUANT TO SECTION 7(1) OF THE NATIONAL PARKS GENERAL REGULATIONS, THE FOLLOWING ACTIVITY IS PROHIBITED BY ORDER OF THE SUPERINTENDENT, WATERTON LAKES NATIONAL PARK:

Effective as of April 1, 2005, no person shall, while fishing for any species of fish in any waters of Waterton Lakes National Park, use a hook from which the barbs have not been removed or pinched to the shaft of the hook.
