What:
Pursuant to subsection 36(1) of the National Parks General Regulations, the following area is closed to all traffic and travel by order of the Superintendent:
Where:
The Caribou Conservation Breeding Centre and the area extending 20 metres outside from the perimeter fence, as delineated in the attoched map. The Caribou Conservation Breeding Centre is located west of Geraldine Road and southwest of Wabasso Road (93A).
Why:
to minimize disturbance to the caribou located in the Caribou Conservation Breeding Centre and to ensure public safety due to the presence of an electric fence along the perimeter of the Centre.
Penalty:
Violators may be charged under the Canada National Parks Act: maximum penalty $25 000.
