Restricted activity: Smoking on Public Beaches

What:
Pursuant to section 7(1) of the National Parks General Regulations, smoking is PROHIBITED in the following designated area within Jasper National Park of Canada by order of the Superintendent, Jasper National Park of Canada.
Where:
The following beaches, as described on the attached maps:
- Annette Lake Main beach
- Edith Lake Main Beach
- Pyramid Beach
Why:
To increase enjoyment of all by providing a smoke free experience on beaches.
Penalty:
Violators may be charged under the Canada National Parks Act: maximum penalty $25 000.
