WHAT: Pursuant to Section 36(1) of the National Parks General Regulations, of the Canada National Parks Act, the following area is closed to all traffic and travel by order of the Superintendent:

WHERE: The area between Tunnel Mountain Road, Peyto Pit Road and the Coastline Trail to the Pedestrian crossing on Tunnel Mountain Road that connects to The Spine trail. The Peyto Pit Road. The Coastline Trail. The sections of The Toe Stinky D trail from the Peyto Pit Road to the intersection with The Toe Sideshow trail and Wolf Skat Alley trail. Teddy Bears Picnic trail from the Peyto Pit Road to the intersection with Wolf Skat Alley trail.

WHY: For the safety of visitors and the public during mechanical forest thinning, burning and log hauling operations.

PENALTY: Violators may be charged under the Canada National Parks Act: maximum penalty $25 000.
