WHAT: Pursuant to Section 36(1) of the National Parks General Regulations, of the Canada National Parks Act, the following area is closed to all traffic and travel by order of the Superintendent:

WHERE: The area between Peyto Pit Road, The Toe (Hoodoos) trail and The Toe (Stinky D) trail is closed. Tunnel Bench Loop (Teddy Bear’s Picnic) trail and the upper parts of The Toe (Super G, Wolf Skat Alley and Stinky D) trails are closed.

WHY: For the safety of visitors and the public during mechanical forest thinning, burning and log hauling operations.

PENALTY: Violators may be charged under the Canada National Parks Act: maximum penalty $25 000
