Facilities and services

Motherwell Homestead’s Visitor Centre functions as an orientation area, meeting and activity room as well as the food service, rest room, and water fountain. The first aid station is also situated here.

Accessible facilities

Most of the site is accessible with the exception of the stone house.

Electric vehicle charging stations

There are 4 Electric vehicle charging stations located at Motherwell Homestead National Historic Site.

Gift Shop

The Friends of the Motherwell Homestead operate a small gift shop in the Visitor Centre.

Information

The information desk is located in the Motherwell Homestead Visitor Centre.

Parking

There is a large gravel parking lot next to the visitor centre.

Picnic area

There are picnic tables next to the play structure, near the visitor’s centre.

Playground

There is a new playground area next to the picnic area, near the visitor’s centre.

Restaurant

There is food available for purchase through the Friends of the Motherwell Homestead in the visitor’s centre.

RV and bus parking

There is room for RVs and busses in the parking lot adjacent to the visitor’s centre.

Restrooms

There are restrooms located in the visitor’s centre.
