Battle of the Restigouche National Historic Site

This is where the fate of New France changed course. Step back in time to better understand the clash between the British and French which ended on July 8, 1760. Follow traces of the past via numerous artifacts and the remains of the Machault. It's a unique foray into history that will allow you to relive one of the unsung chapters of the War of the Conquest.
