The artists

Alyssa Godin-Ferland

Cherche et trouve
Acrylic, soft pastels, and colored pencils

Inspired by the game of the same name, this painting combines the search for symbols with the pursuit of well-being. Although the elements that make up this search are personal, the illustrated symbols invite multiple interpretations. The painting thus explores what brings happiness from different perspectives.

Élise Masson

Chaque bordel révèle une personnalité
Acrylic

Let’s stop seeing disorder as unhealthy. Every chaos reveals a personality. Behind this mess, there is life, humanity, identity. If we never lost our keys, life would be too monotonous, too tidy. Let this acrylic-coated canvas make you reconsider your view of the mess. It may be more essential than it seems.

Korine Roy

Sérendipité
Styrofoam, collage, acrylic paint, ink, watercolour, textile, absorbent cotton, paper and beads

Sérendipité expresses a sense of emotional overload, reflected in the contrasting textures and colors that overflow from the depths. The artist’s attachment to nature is transcribed in biomorphic forms. Thus, a relief takes shape; a complex and personal cartography.

Maéva Miville-Rioux

2112, rue Extrait d’échos, Mirage
Digital artwork

The work presents the point of view of two inner worlds born of reflection. Inspired by water and drapery, it uses movement to illustrate the process of reasoning. The representation of these fictional universes shares a personal vision of the unconscious to better understand where we go when we lose ourselves in our thoughts.

Julie Bélanger

Topographie des voies silencieuses
Digital painting

The work communicates the various facets of human perception by exploring the multiple points of view it offers. It depicts the grandeur and strength of nature from a different angle, while also denouncing its transience. The withered stems, painted with vibrant digital brushstrokes, illustrate its struggle to survive, awakening our environmental awareness.
