Melanson Settlement National Historic Site

The Melanson Settlement is located on the Annapolis River in Port Royal, Nova Scotia. It is a 2-hour drive from Halifax and the airport. Port-Royal and Fort Anne National Historic Sites are nearby.

The ferry from Saint John, New Brunswick (which connects to Digby) is just a 30-minute drive away.

Plan to spend an hour on the short (193 m) trail and lookout.
