Fort Beauséjour – Fort Cumberland National Historic Site

The Visitor Centre houses the site's exhibit areas and an extensive collection of artifacts dealing with the region's military and civilian history.

Public washrooms are available in the visitor centre, including an accessible washroom.

The site's main parking area can accommodate cars, RV's and buses. The upper parking area is smaller but includes two accessible parking stalls. The sidewalk area in front of the main entrance is designed as our dropoff point for motorcoach passengers.

The visitor centre, a washroom and picnic shelters are wheelchair accessible. Restored ruin areas are accessible over a specially modified loop trail including one of the fort's underground casemates. The audio-visual presentation is equipped with closed captioning. An all-terrain wheelchair is available for loan.

Pets are welcomed on the grounds. However they must be kept on a leash and are not permitted in the Visitor Centre.
