Each plant offering will be discussed, and the benefits and uses of the plants will be highlighted. Deanna will also guide discussions about plant protocols while harvesting and different ways to use plants to make medicine.

To register, please email FTLtickets-billetsFTL@pc.gc.ca and include your name, phone number, and the number of people in your party. You will receive a call within three business days to confirm if there is space and take your payment.

Notes: Deanna Miller (sxwnem) is from Katzie First Nation and was born and raised on Katzie ancestral land in the Langley territory. šxʷne:m is a word in the hən̓q̓əmin̓əm̓ language that means healer. In an effort to return to the ways of her ancestors, she makes medicines from plants she harvests from her land. All products are handmade in small batches with intention, love and respect. She enjoys all opportunities to share this ancestral knowledge through workshops and plant walks.
