Discover the roles played by Indigenous peoples at Fort Langley both then and now through demonstrations, storytelling, and hands-on activities.
Admission details
Please purchase admission inside the Visitor Centre: $7.80/adult; $6.55/senior. Free admission for youth 17 and under and annual pass holders.
Schedule
10:00 am - Site Opens
11:00 am – Métis jig workshop (Big House, 2nd floor)
11:00 am - Noon – Traditional Plant Workshop (Advance tickets for the Traditional Plant Workshop are available online until June 17th. If space remains, you will also be able to pay upon arrival at the Visitor Centre.
11:30 am - 2 pm – Tea with Auntie Lisa (Big House, 2nd floor)
12:00 pm – Feature presentation: Bannock (Central Fire Pit)
1:00 pm – Welcome song and Walking Tour with Fern Gabriel (Meet at the Salmon Walk sculptures in front of the Visitor Centre).
2:00 pm - Métis jig workshop – Big House, 2nd floor
3:00 pm – Guided Tour (Main gate)
4:00 pm – Coopering Demonstration (Cooperage)
5:00 pm - Site Closes
