Cost: Regular admission fees apply: $9.00/adult; $7.50/senior. Free admission for youth 17 and under and annual pass holders.

Come spend Family Day at Fort Langley National Historic Site and learn all about our feathered friends! We have many egg-citing activities planned for your family with special guests from the Vancouver Avian Research Centre, Wild Research, B.C. Field Ornithologists, Langley Field Naturalists, Metro Vancouver Parks, Langley Environmental Partners, and more!

  • 11:00 a.m. Bird walk with B.C. Field Ornithologists
  • 12:00 p.m. Test your bird-nerd knowledge with bird trivia
  • 1:00 p.m. Bird walk with B.C. Field Ornithologists
  • 2:30 p.m. Test your bird-nerd knowledge with bird trivia

All Day

  • Make a pinecone bird feeder to take home and hang up. 
  • Learn how to look for and identify birds.
  • See a beautiful photography display of birds in the region.
  • Take home a Bird Trail B.C. map to help you find birds around the province.
