Join us at Fort Langley National Historic Site’s Annual Cranberry Fest for a berry good time! Dive into a day packed with cranberry-themed fun for everyone. Explore the juicy history of cranberries through lively demonstrations, slip on your stomping boots, and savor mouthwatering cranberry treats. Discover the fascinating world of cranberry trade and its impact on the Fort’s history. Best of all? Admission is free!

This year’s Cranberry Festival also marks the kickoff the Scarecrow Showcase. Keep an eye out for your favourite scarecrow and be the first to cast your vote!

Ongoing activities:

  • Cranberry stomping in front of the Cooperage
  • Scarecrow scavenger hunts
  • Photo station behind the Big House
  • Special Café offer: bannock with cranberry and rosemary jam and lemonade
  • Ministry of Children Foster Care outreach table
  • Corn hole (weather permitting) by flagpole
    • Scheduled activities:
      • 10:30 am: Fort 101
      • 11 am and 2 pm: Blacksmith demonstration
      • 11:30 am and 1:30 pm: Cooperage talk: how the fort helped prevent scurvy
      • 12 pm and 2:30 pm: Fort game show: cranberries edition
      • 12:30 pm and 3:30 pm: curator’s corner: cranberry edition
