Access for the disabled

Gulf of Georgia Cannery National Historic Site

Although the Gulf of Georgia Cannery structure dates back over 110 years, great effort has been made to accommodate those visiting in wheelchairs. There are designated Disabled Parking spots close to the Cannery. Power assisted doors are at the front entrance and wheelchair accessible washrooms are provided. Those with visual impairment will find audio stations throughout the exhibits.

If a visitor with a disability requires an attendant, that attendant will receive complimentary admission. Only registered guide and assist dogs are permitted in the building. For more information, call 604.664.9009 or e-mail info@gogcannery.org
