Transition to Retirement

Dear colleagues,

As I indicated in my message of December 4, 2025, I will be retiring at the end of this fiscal year. 

During the upcoming several weeks, as I transition towards retirement, I will be honouring commitments for transitional meetings with partners and stakeholders, maintaining engagement in some key files, and beginning the “out-routine” activities that are required when retiring. Andrew Campbell will serve as A/PCEO & SVP of Transformation during this period of transition. He will provide day to day leadership for most Agency activities in order to ensure continuity and to prepare the Agency to support a new PCEO when my successor is named by the Prime Minister.

I will have some reflections to share with you closer to my departure date and, in the meantime, I thank you all for your continued support and for your outstanding service to Canadians.
