Visiting Lake Louise and Moraine Lake

To visit Lake Louise and Moraine Lake, you must plan ahead. The Lake Louise Lakeshore parking lot fills up before sunrise and remains full until sunset. Moraine Lake Road is closed to personal vehicles year-round. Reserving a seat on the Parks Canada shuttles, on Roam Public Transit, or with a commercial vehicle operator is the only way to ensure you see these iconic lakes.
