The information you provide is collected under the authority of Section 8 of the Parks Canada Agency Act, sections 3 and 8 of the Historic Sites and Monuments Act for the designation and commemoration of historic places, persons, and events of national and international significance.
Participation in National Program of Historical Commemoration is voluntary. Refusing to provide personal information will exclude you from the process of nominating sites, persons, or events of potential national historical significance for possible designation.
Your personal information is administered in accordance with the Canada National Parks Act, the Privacy Act and other applicable laws. You have the right to the protection of, access to, and correction of your personal information, which is described in institution specific Personal Information Bank National Program of Historical Commemoration PC PPU 074.
