What:
Pursuant to Section 35(1) of the National Parks of Canada Fishing Regulations and pursuant to the Trespass to Property Act of Ontario, the following activities are prohibited by order of the Superintendent:

• No person shall fish in the inland waters of Beausoleil Island including Goblin and Fairy Lakes except as authorized by a permit issued by the Superintendent.
• No person shall fish in the inland waters of Bone Island except as authorized by a permit issued by the Superintendent.

Where: 

Beausoleil Island and Bone Island, Georgian Bay Islands National Park.

Why: 
For the protection, conservation and management of fish within the prescribed waters.

Note:   
Violators may be charged under the Canada National Parks Act and other applicable Provincial/ Federal legislation.
